Set among the restaurants, fashion boutiques and
homeware stores on buzzing Angove Street in
North Perth is a new creative venture that is set to
shine. The Angove Street Collective – a one-stop
location that boasts beautiful furniture, homewares,
coffee and more – is the brainchild of Ambassador
Home’s Gregory Baker.
“A lot of facto rs led to the decisio n to create
Angove Street Collective,” says Gregor y.
“ Person ally, it was abo ut working in a creative,
dynamic an d suppo rtive environ ment, where
I could offer affo rdable option s for small retailers
in a great village location. It’s also about giving our
cu sto mers something that will tu rn a coffee visit to
Angove Street into much mo re of a n experien ce.”
The new space sits opposite Milk’d and Cool
Calm Collected in a large, blue character building
with high ceilings. There’s plen ty of open space
to stro ll throu gh a nd discover o ne-o ff pieces fro m
Ambassado r H ome and other stores such as The
Rug Studio and Pekho wear + wares. “ We have
a local florist doing flowers, and Saison doing
three ranges of scented giftware, including Tru e
Grace can dles an d room fragra nces,” says G reg.
