J UDGES CONNECT WITH TELECOM q
Architecture+ has converted two Wellington buildings
and a vacant rear lot into a 35,000sqm building joined by
a dramatic central atrium. Telecom Central’s striking facade
and pedestrian link allow the building to interact with the
city, and connect two important thoroughfares. A winner of
the 2013 NZ Architectural awards, the 5 Green Star building
incorporates historic elements within its modern glass exterior,
for a s imple but richly det ailed building . architectureplus.co.nz.
