Art lovers need n o i ntro duction to the achievemen ts of Robert Ju niper
– the two-time Wynne Prize winner and State Living Treasure – but now
they can meet him in person . The ar tist is opening his Darlington ho me,
shared with wife Trish, as a galler y by appointmen t where visito rs can view
and buy Robert’s work. “ This idea has been in the back of my mind for a long
time. Fortunately the opportunity has now arisen,” he says. “ The house itself
is pretty un co nven tio nal – there’s a lon g galler y-like corrido r which is very
su itable for ha nging paintings.” It should be, sin ce he design ed the building.

see the leafy gro un ds filled with Rober t’s scu lptu res.

St Georges Terrace. The heritage space, finished with a modern aesthetic,
showcases leading Australia n an d inte rn atio nal a rtists. S ee photographic
exhibition URBANISE on display there fro m October 24 to November 8,
