Louis Vuitton Ma rc Jacobs is a sto ry of two person alities an d their
contribution to the world of fashion. On show in Paris at Les Arts Decoratifs,
the in stallatio n traces the con tributio n to the world of fashio n by Louis
Vuitton, who founded the eponymous fashion house in 1854, and Marc
Jacobs, its a rtistic directo r sin ce 1997. Throu gh the telling of parallel stories,
the exhibition permits an in -depth look at the indu stry during two key
ages of mo dern ity: industrialisation an d globalisatio n . It is also a jo urn ey of
craftsmanship, techno logy, stylistic creation an d collabo ration , from the
first travel trunk to the latest catwalk collections, and plenty of handbags.

The first substantial survey in the UK of
the work of Damian Hirst is the undisputed
su mmer blockbuster fo r Tate Modern. Revered
and reviled in equal measures, the infl u ence

Dan ish design co mpany Gubi has re-issu ed the icon ic 1950s
leather mi rror by mo dern ist a rchitect Jacqu es Adnet. The
design er, whose style epitomised lu xu r y, had collaborated
with Hermès aro un d the same time, an d the equestria n
influence is evident in this elegant round wall mirror with
