Zoe Keogh graduated as Most

School of Art and Design in
2000. Zoe has worked at the Saatchi
Gallery in London, and later won an
internship at fashion hou se Chloe
in Paris. No w focused primarily on
her ar t practice, Zoe has taken part
in exhibition s a nd fai rs in Paris, New
York, London and Perth. She is
curren tly based in Be rlin .
The art work In recent exhibitio ns,
Zoe has focu sed on issu es surrou nding
identity an d gen der. Her wo rk often
examines the hard-fought social
equality of women within ou r so ciety,
con trasted by tradition al n otio n s
of do mesticity and motherho od.
Zoe’s work will be the focus of a solo
exhibitio n at Artspace in Nedlan ds.

Artist Brett Hill is o rigin ally from
New Zealan d, where he held his fi rst
solo ex hibitio n in 1984. Now based in
WA, the lan dscape of New Zealand
remains present in his paintings.
Much of his work is about memory
– the distor ted and so metimes
unreliable recollection of images,
ideas an d emo tio ns.
The art work The weight of the
solitary character in the foreground sits
against a cloud-like backdrop. Strong
and stark with a powerful presence, this
composition is a stunning example of
Brett’s tonal layering.
