hinking that this home is picture perfect? You’d be right.
Owners Robert and Gina McClelland built this house
in 2007 at Grotto Bay, in South Africa, for personal and
professional use. The idea was born when Robert was
modelling to earn extra money while studying. He often thought
locations for shoots were not suitable and too small for working
comfortably with a large team. Plus, he felt the interiors were often
not appealing. So, with more than a decade of experience behind him,
he launched 2Productions with his wife Gina eight years ago, then
searched out the perfect spot for photoshoots – and a holiday house.

is named after its location – a 45-minute drive from Cape Town,

environment, filled with the subtle green bushes this area is
renowned for. And it’s walking distance to some of South Africa’s
most stunning beaches – the sounds of crashing waves and the
ocean views create a blissful vibe for a relaxed country-style house.
According to Robert and Gina, first, the house had to offer
sufficient opportunities for a variety of shoots, and it also had to
be the perfect escape destination. One of the main construction
challenges was to create the perfect height for a swimming pool, one
