Artist Julie Blyfield is one of Australia’s
most celebrated jewellers. Her work is held
by major museums, including the National
Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of
Victoria, Art Gallery of South Australia,
National Museum of Scotland, The
Aberdeen Art Gallery and the Turnov
collection in the Czech Republic.
The artwork These brooches form part of
a solo exhibition of new jewellery and
vessel work developed by Julie for FORM
Galler y. She was inspire d by notion s of
moving between sea and land – in
particular Kangaroo Island in South
Australia. Here, Julie collected plants,
shells, sponges and other specimens from
D’Estrees Bay and King George Beach.

Title The Glomesh Project
Artist Nairn Scott is a Sydney-based artist
whose broader practice is concerned with
the subjective position of ‘the outsider’.
He has completed masters degrees in
art and design, and has exhibited widely
for almost 20 years. His work is held in
numerous collections. Nairn is represented
by the James Do rahy Proj ect Space in
New South Wales.
