Intricate, charming and made from high-carat gold... A
typical mid-19th century design, this substantial piece is in
perfect condition. What’s eye-catching about it is not only its
craftsmanship, but also a square of quartz in the centre of the
brooch with veins of gold running through it.
This highly carved walnut armchair makes for
a fantastic talking point. It will suit any style of
home – from the traditional to ultra-modern
– adding texture and warmth. It’s in superb
con dition with origin al tap est ry still in place.
Items like this don’t come by often. It’s an unusual carved
rosewood and silver mounted tray table, made in China for
export to the European market. The top is inlaid with silver and
it features beautiful chased silver mounts to the corners bearing
stylised dragons. The wood is intricately carved and there are
silver carrying handles on the sides.
