HOT TREND FLOORS BY FLORENCE
We just can’t get enough of Florence Broadhurst. Respected Sydney store Cadrys Handwoven Rug Specialists has drawn from the vaults of
Signature Prints (custodians of Florence Broadhurst designs) to create a new range of rugs with Florence finesse – Florence Broadhurst
Handmade Rugs. Lucky for us, our very own rug doyenne Jenny Jones has fallen for the patterned pile, too, representing the collection in
Perth. The rugs are hand-knotted in Nepal in Tibetan wool and silk, and can be created in a bespoke colour palette to match your interior (there
are 1200 colours to choose from). “ Florence Broadhurst’s wallpaper designs translate really well to the floor. There are uniform designs,
brocades, fans, repetitive patterns – it’s very graceful,” says Jenny. “And the integrity of Cadrys is in line with the philosophy of my business, so
I am excited to be joining forces with them.” The collection launched in Sydney in July, is released here in September and samples are in
store now. Pictured: Florentine Tapestry Alternate, from $3945/185x275cm. Jenny Jones Rugs (08) 9286 1200, jennyjonesrugs.com.
