What is the concept behind the windows? Huge
glazed areas are combined with thin, horizontal
windows to produce a game of natural lighting and
views -- from a corner we see everything, from another
only a part. It's constant dynamism.
Has it a ected the style of window treatments? In
the bedrooms, a system of roller blinds with double
curtains has been used, with a black-out treatment to
darken the room and a screen to give privacy while
allowing in natural light. Elsewhere, only one has been
used. All blinds are automatic to allow them to easily
be completely raised to make the most of the views.
Explain the exterior... It's completely integrated into
the environment and defined by a deck that functions
as an expansion of the main rooms and provides
continuity to the interior.

Tiles were used to create the green colour of the pool, which is integrated into the exterior and interior through the Brazilian walnut timber.
The horizontal windows act as a dynamic visual element to the exterior of the home. BELOW A grey graphite melamine gives the kitchen an
earthy aesthetic, which is given a contemporary edge thanks to steel backings (skirting board, undersink cabinet front and wall from the sink
onwards). The island bench is in grey Silestone, while the flooring is granite tiles. Steel stools with black-leather seats add punch to the area.
