Artist: Pendal and Neille operate a
design and research oriented architecture
practice in Perth. They are both teachers
at Curtin University.
The Artwork: The dilemma associated
with architec tural exhibitions is that the
actual subject of the exhibition, the building
itself, is not actually on display. The aim of
this exhibition is to structure perception;
to provoke in viewers other imaginings
about things (buildings) that are not

Title: A Master's Touch: New works by
Artist: Victor Greenaway is an
internationally renowned ceramic artist who
is represented in collections nationally and
overseas. He has been the recipient of many
major awards, including the prestigious
Australia Council Fellowship in 2001-2002.
In 2005, a book was produced celebrating
40 years of this fine artist's work. In his latest
exhibition, Victor has included inspirational
images from Venice, which have had an
influence on his ceramic forms.
The Artwork: The delicate porcelain
forms are made from fine clay. They are
wheel-turned and polished and glazed to
produce fine sculptural forms. Greenaway's
bowls display a timeless elegance and
exquisite beauty. The piece pictured is
a hemispherical form on a black-banded
column. It features a white gloss interior
with coloured glaze and ceramic pencil

Artist: Jon Goulder's impeccable
making skills and distinct aesthetics have

designer. His first solo exhibition, curated
by FORM, brings this distinctiveness to
the fore in a holistic collection of furniture
pieces designed to fit out an imagined
new house. The exhibition includes
11 new pieces, made over 12 months in

40. GADFLY GALLERY
Artist: Kieran Ingram is a classically trained
professional artist. The time Kieran spent
in Florence studying the methods and work
of the old masters has provided him with a
keen eye and appreciation for the aesthetic
qualities of the world around him.
The Artwork: Kieran chooses to work from
life as he believes that this is the only way
to truly capture the essence of his subjects.
Helene is a beautiful example of this
approach, with the female form captured
beautifully through softly rendered charcoal.
